The meeting with Dikalu Muzakaev, Chechen Minister of Culture, preceded the opening of the photo exhibition in Grozny

The "Russia’s North Caucasus on the Road of Change" photo exhibition was opened by the FOCUS-MEDIA Foundation on March 11 in the National Museum of the Chechen Republic, Grozny. The exhibition will be open to visitors till March 16.

Dikalu Muzakaev, Chechen Minister of Culture, wished good luck to the organizers of the exhibition at a meeting held on the eve of the exhibition opening. He expressed interest in further cooperation, as the Chechen Republic today is actively restoring and developing cultural relations and relevant institutions.

The partner of the photo exhibition, the Russian Culture Foundation, awarded Memorable Prize and Certificate to Chechen photographer Rustam Bitirov for the photo "Celebrating the birthday of Prophet Mohammad," Grozny 2009. The photo held the second place in jury’s opinion.

On March 19, the photo exhibition will be opened in Vladikavkaz, and on April 05 - in Moscow, in the Public Chamber of Russia.
