FOCUS-MEDIA Foundation is inviting NGOs to the Ist CIVIL FORUM of NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS of the NORTH CAUCASUS FEDERAL DISTRICT

The Russian FOCUS-MEDIA Public Health and Social Development Foundation is inviting the North Caucasus non-governmental organizations to take part in the Ist CIVIL FORUM, aimed at analyzing the situation and assessing the NGOs’ impact on the social and economic development of the North Causcasus region, as well as formulating concrete decisions on the civil society development.

The Forum will take place on April 22-23, 2010, in Pyatigorsk.
The participants will be the NGOs representatives from the North Caucasus Federal District (Stavropol Krai, republics of Karachay-Cirkassia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia-Alania, Chechen Republic, Ingushetia, Dagestan), as well as from the governmental structures, international organizations, business community and the media. The estimated number of participants is 120.

The main issues of the Forum:

International Dialogue. Tolerance
Public Health and Social Assistance to Population
Economic Development of the Region and Unemployment

Special guest of the Forum: Elena Topoleva, Director of the Agency for Social Information, Member of the RF Public Chamber
